Ten Speed Design
Hi, I'm Anne Fogarty, a freelance designer located in Portland, OR. I recently moved back to Portland after spending the previous 20 years in Seattle, WA. My clients are everywhere — East coast, West coast and in between.
I divide my time between freelance art direction + design for nonprofits and design agencies, and brand design for new and emerging businesses and organizations. My particular interest is work for social justice centered nonprofit organizations that seek to affect change.

Specializing in both print and interactive design, I partner with other professionals to provide identity, packaging, copywriting, photography, video, social media, mobile and web design. I love the process of turning a great idea into something useful, user friendly and beautiful to look at. 

Design Approach
In my view, design is essentially problem solving, but great design goes one step further and makes an emotional connection. As a designer, I aim to achieve a balance between emotion–expressed through composition, color, typography, imagery, storytelling and clarity–the simplification of the complex. I value a clearly defined strategy, a user centered design, and a well-considered approach to visual content.
